Change.

The winds of Change blew harshly
Swept me to hard ground,
Battered me with lightning
Thundered awful sounds.

Why they had come I knew not
Why now, took him not me?
I’d sacrificed in instant,
Yet it was not to be.

Was it all for nothing?
Believe must that I ought?
For so much grew from moments,
That curses I once thought.

This game of life we’re living,
Do we really know the rules?
I bet you all our ‘knowing’
Is what makes us all fools.

So soar the winds of changing
Let go of what you know,
Even torment gusts can
Bring wonders not yet shown.
